Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi has said that the federal government is working on the development projects in Karachi.

Talking to the media after inaugurating the New CL Gate at the entrance of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Overhead Bridge at Keemari Karachi, he said that the e-filing system has introduced in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the performance of the ministry has been improved.

He said that the cabinet has the power to appoint the Chairman in any department.

He said that a ferry terminal is being set up at west wharf Karachi and working on the terminal is underway with a full swing which will complete in few months.
