
Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal has announced its manifesto for general elections.
MMA President Maulana Fazlur Rehman unveiled the manifesto in a press conference along with other leaders of the alliance in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Nizam-e-Mustafa (SAWW) will be enforced in the country and Islamic provisions in the constitution will be protected.
He said MMA, if comes to power, will ensure powerful legislature, independent judiciary, and devolution of powers at grassroots level.
The MMA President said independent foreign policy will be devised and relations will be established with all countries on basis of equality.
He said provision of education and employment will be ensured and unnecessary taxes will be withdrawn. Prices of daily use commodities will be reduced. New dams will be constructed and effective system of generation and distribution of electricity will be established.
He said employment of local population and infrastructure at local level will be given priority in CPEC projects.
Fazlur Rehman said the MMA manifesto also includes promotion of small industries, useful policies for farmers and laborers, agricultural reforms based on low-rate taxes, encouragement of foreign investment, free treatment of five fatal diseases, and protection of minorities' worship places.
