Former Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Ambassador Sardar Masood Khan, says Pakistan's resolute response during last year's Indian aggression marked a defining moment in the country's history.

Addressing a gathering at National University of Sciences and Technology in Islamabad, he paid glowing tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their precise, proportionate, and decisive response to Indian aggression.

Recalling the events of May 6 last year, the former Ambassador described Pakistan retaliation as a proud moment for the nation. He emphasized that Pakistan successfully defended its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence in the face of external aggression.

Masood Khan said Pakistan achieved success not only in the battlefield, but also in the domains of information and diplomacy. He said Pakistan's effective facilitation of sensitive engagements between major powers has earned unprecedented trust and recognition for it on the global stage.

While celebrating these achievements, he stressed the need for continued vigilance in light of persistent regional threats. He urged the youth to prepare themselves for leadership role.
