Blind Cricket World Cup trophy unveiled

The unveiling ceremony of the Blind Cricket World Cup trophy was held in Lahore on Saturday.

Teams of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Australia and India will be participating in the forthcoming event.

According to Public Relation Officer of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Asif, the opening ceremony of Blind Cricket World Cup will be held on Sunday at the Gaddafi Stadium.

He said three matches will be played in Pakistan while remaining matches will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the schedule, Pakistan and Bangladesh will play opening match at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday.

The second match will be played between Pakistan and Nepal at the Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala and Bangladesh and Nepal will play third match at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council has also announced squad for the forthcoming event.

According to PBCC spokesperson Mr. Asif Azeem, squad is comprised of; Nasir Ali (Capatin), Amir Ishfaq (Vice Capatin),  Muhammad Ayaz, Sajid Nawaz, Riassat Khan, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Asif, Anees Javed, Badar Munir, Mati Ullah, Haroon, Zeeshan Abbasi, Muhammad Jamil, Mohsin Khan, Muhammad Rashid, Israr Hassan, Muhammad Ijaz and Sana Ullah Khan.
