Minister for Energy Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari has said Pakistan desires to improve cultural relations, sports and human resource development with Russia.

In an interview with the Russian media, he said a trial freight train will run between Pakistan and Russia from March. He said we are also considering establishing direct air services between Pakistan and Russia, increasing connectivity and promoting business.

The Minister said Pakistan can benefit from better and closer regional cooperation with member countries within the BRICS framework.
