Indian forces intensify search operations in several districts of IIOJK

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces' personnel have intensified search operations in several districts of the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops have expanded the operation, conducting massive searches deep inside forests of the Yousmarg and Pir Panjal belt in Budgam district.

One youth has been martyred during the operation so far.

Additionally, Indian forces carried out a joint search-cum-area domination exercise in several areas of Samba district.

The exercise began in Regal village and extended to Chillerian, Nadala and Ploora, where troops conducted thorough checks and maintained a presence along identified routes.

During the exercise, a special joint team comprising Indian police and Border Security Force personnel was deployed at a strategic location.

Meanwhile, people held strong protests in Kupwara and Rajouri districts against anti-people policies of the Indian administration.

Residents of Wadipora in Handwara, Kupwara, blocked the Handwara-Rajwar road to protest authorities' failure to provide drinking water.

They raised slogans against the authorities.

In the Thannamandi area of Rajouri, a protest was held against inadequate healthcare facilities at the local hospital.

On the other hand, All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs and heroes of the September 1965 war on the eve of Pakistan Defence Day.

He said Pakistan's brave armed forces and patriotic people had rendered unforgettable sacrifices in defence of their homeland and foiled the enemy's nefarious designs.

The spokesman said Pakistan's defence is strong and secure and the sacrifices of the martyrs of the 1965 war will always be remembered.
