Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and wants peace in the region, but Armed Forces are ready to respond befittingly if any aggression is made.

 He was briefing a high-level in-camera session on national security, along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar. 

The in-camera session, which was held in wake of Pahalgam False Flag Operation, was attended by a large number of political leaders. 

The DG ISPR briefed the political representatives on the preparedness and operational readiness of the Pakistan Army.

During the session, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah apprised the political leaders of the government's diplomatic measures and the state’s official stance on current developments.
