Pakistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to enhance the bilateral trade to two billion dollars within the next five years.

To this respect a protocol for enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was signed in Islamabad this evening by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Under the protocol, the two sides shall constitute a joint working group to formulate an action plan for identifying sectors for enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation through mutual consultations.
