President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed his condolences over phone to families of ISI director and inspector, who were martyred in an incident of firing in Khanewal.

The President telephoned the wife of ISI Director Muhammad Naveed Sadiq Sial Shaheed and paid tribute to the family members for bearing the trauma with courage, patience and bravery.

The President also expressed his condolences over the phone to the wife of Inspector Nasir Abbasi Bhatti Shaheed and commended the supreme sacrifice of her husband.

Paying tribute to the martyrs for sacrificing their lives in the war against terrorism, Dr Arif Alvi said the entire nation salutes the services of the martyrs in the war against terrorism.
