In the United States, polls have closed in parts of Indiana, Kentucky and some other states while voting continues elsewhere to elect 59th President of the country.

The incumbent President Donald Trump is a candidate of the Republican Party while Joe Biden is contesting the election on Democratic Party ticket.  

More than 100 million people have cast their votes putting the country on course for its highest turnout in a century.
