Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar says the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has miserably failed to protect the lives of the people of the province.
In a televised message today, he said the PTI's policy is aimed at supporting terrorism in the province. He said the PTI government lacks the will to take action against terrorists.
Attaullah Tarar said the PTI will have to choose whether it stands with Pakistan or Afghanistan.
He said whatever the PTI has was given to it by Pakistan, but it is siding with Afghanistan. He added that the PTI is benefiting from Pakistan while extending favours to Afghanistan.
Regarding the double standards of the PTI, the minister said its practice is to come for talks but it remains unwilling to abandon its hypocrisy and contradictory policies.
He said the blood of innocent children and rescue workers is being shed in the province, while Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is busy seeking the release of a prisoner.
Attaullah Tarar questioned who had stopped the PTI government from convening meetings of the Provincial Apex Committee.
He said since coming to power in the province, the PTI government has received more than Rs700 billion under the NFC Award for counter-terrorism.
The minister, however, said that no one will be allowed to disturb law and order and the government will ensure the protection of the lives and property of citizens.
