
River flows are expected to increase significantly across all major river systems in the country during the next twenty-four hours.
According to the National Emergencies Operation Centre, there is low flooding in the Indus at Kalabagh, Chashma, and Guddu, Nullah Palkhu at Wazirabad, and Nullah Basanter at Narowal.
Ravi, Chenab, Jhelum, Kabul, and Sutlej are presently flowing within normal limits at all reported control points.
Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur hill torrents and Nullah Lai in Rawalpindi-Islamabad remain within normal limits.
There is also low flow in River Chenab at Marala, Ravi at Balloki, and Jhelum and its associated rivers upstream of Mangla Dam.
Flash flooding is likely in streams, nullahs, and torrents of some areas of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
