Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Gilgit on a day-long visit.

On arrival, he was received by Governor Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Gulbar Khan.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will assess the flood situation and damages caused by recent rains. He will meet with the victims of rains and floods in Gilgit and distribute relief funds.

He will chair a meeting to review the losses caused by the rains. He will also hold meetings with the Governor and Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
