President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended felicitations to President Donald Trump and American people on 250th anniversary of the US Independence.

In a letter to his U.S. counterpart, President Asif Ali Zardari said the United States continues to build upon its enduring legacy of strength, innovation and commitment to the ideals of freedom, democracy and opportunity.

Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan and the United States share a long-standing relationship based on mutual respect and a common commitment to advancing peace, security and prosperity. 

In a post on X handle, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan joins the United States in celebrating this remarkable milestone and the enduring values of freedom, resilience, and democracy.
