KSrelief completes 5th phase of Shelter NFIs aid project in merged districts of KP

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) of Saudi Arabia has successfully concluded the 5th phase of its Shelter Non-Food Items (NFIs) assistance project in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The project aims at providing critical humanitarian support to vulnerable communities.

A total of three thousand five hundred Shelter Non-Food Items kits were distributed among deserving families across seven regions.

According to details, five hundred kits were distributed each in Upper Kurram, Lower Kurram, Mohmand, Orakzai, North Waziristan, Lower South Waziristan, and Upper South Waziristan.

Each Shelter Non-Food Items kit included a tent, solar panel with LED lighting system, two thermal blankets, plastic mats, a kitchen set, a water cooler, and antibacterial soap items. Overall more than twenty four individuals of these areas were benefitted from this project.

The project was implemented in close collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority, ensuring effective coordination, transparency, and timely delivery of humanitarian assistance to the targeted beneficiaries.

The distribution of Non- Food Items kits reflects the enduring humanitarian partnership and strong bonds of solidarity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in serving communities affected by crises and disasters.
