Seventeen Indian-sponsored terrorists have been killed by security forces in two intelligence-based operations in Kachhi and Kharan districts of Balochistan.

An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Sanni area of Kachhi district. During the operation, an attempt by terrorists to establish a roadblock was thwarted by the proactive action of security forces, resulting in the killing of ten Indian-sponsored terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered.

In another intelligence-based operation in Kharan district, security forces busted a terrorist hideout and, after an intense exchange of fire, seven Indian-sponsored Khawarij were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered.

Meanwhile, during the intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Hikmat Ullah, having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area.

A relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of "Azm-e-Istehkam", as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace by the security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism from the country.
