The 12th death anniversary of legendary folk singer Reshma was observed today [Monday].

Reshma was born in Rajasthan in 1947.

Known as the Nightingale of the Desert, the folk singer was decorated with several national awards, including Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Legends of Pakistan.

She died on this day in Lahore in 2013.
