Dr. Usman Chohan (Economic Expert): It is very significant development towards national economic uplift that the government has approved the establishment of Trade Facilitation Board. As per my analysis, Trade Facilitation Board is vital for export led economic growth strategy because cost of doing business and ease of doing business in Pakistan are top priority of the government. Ease of doing business increases the foreign direct investment and Trade Facilitation Board will be part of required strategy for economic uplift.  It is also very positive development and a wise decision that Prime Minister himself will chair the Trade Facilitation Board. Trade Facilitation Board will formulate a roadmap for the promotion of trade, develop a Trade Facilitation Index and devise a strategy for monitoring progress. As per my personal ready, Trade Facilitation Board will also streamline the supply chain of products and removal of non-trade barriers. This board will also be helpful in creating better trade environment and environment of competition.
