In Afghanistan, sixteen people have been killed and over one hundred people injured in a massive explosion followed by the sound of small-arms fire in Kabul city.

According to Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman the blast occurred near Green Village, a large compound that houses aid agencies and international organisations.

Taliban have claimed responsibility of the attack.
