Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has stressed the need for a fully digitalized taxation system to eliminate tax leakages.

He was addressing the business community at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry today.

The Minister underlined the importance of the private sector and said it has to lead the economy to put Pakistan on a growth trajectory.

He said the government is encouraging the construction sector, but the system of buying and selling files would not be allowed.

He said the record of every individual is available with NADRA and FBR, which would be integrated to eliminate leakage of taxes.

Later, the Minister performed the soft launch of Faisalabad Expo by cutting a ribbon.
