The United States has again warned that it will respond decisively if Russia invades Ukraine.

In a statement White House press secretary Jen Psaki said US President Joe Biden has held telephonic conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky and expressed support for diplomatic efforts including planned talks between US and Russian officials on 9th and 10th of this month in Geneva.

The White House said President Biden also reaffirmed the United States' commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
