Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal has reaffirmed government's commitment to ensure real-time disease surveillance and data accuracy across the country.
During a visit to the Sehat Sahulat Program's data centre in Islamabad, Mustafa Kamal emphasized the need to develop a Universal Medical Record system for non-Sehat Card patients as well where every citizen's Computerized National Identity Card number would serve as their medical record number.
He stated that such a system would significantly improve access to healthcare, enabling doctors to instantly retrieve patients' medical histories, to facilitate their timely diagnosis and treatment.
