The United Nations has appealed for international support with immediate funding for Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh.

UN Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh Gwyn Lewis, said the body is extremely concerned that cutting in food aid by WFP will leave harmful effects on women and children.

She said People living in Rohingya camps are barred from working and they are completely dependent on international community funding.
