The Sindh government has decided to launch the Youth Citizen Journalism Programme and the Youth Emerging Star Programme in the Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, and Hyderabad divisions to empower the youth of the province.

In a statement issued in Karachi on Friday, Provincial Minister for Sports Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar said that young journalists will be trained under the Youth Citizen Journalism Program.

He added that the initiative will create new employment opportunities for the youth and enable them to play an active role in the digital world.
