A.M. Shahid (Former Ambassador): The people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been suffering from Indian atrocities for the last 76 years and Pakistan always stood by the Kashmiris brethren in crucial times. Pakistan and India have already fought a few wars over the Kashmir dispute. The human rights violations in IIOJ&K needs serious attention of the world community. India had never moved an inch and revoked the article 35-A and 370 in effort to change the dynamics of the occupied valley. Despite the Indian brutal acts, the Kashmiris are determined to get rid of illegal Indian occupation and continue to get their right to self-determination. Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri people till the Kashmiris get their right of plebiscite. After 5th August, the Modi regime is trying to control the situation in the occupied valley but unable to do so. The economy and culture of Kashmir has been destroyed by Indian occupied forces. The Indian Supreme Court has also endorsed the illegal move of the Indian government as far as abrogation of articles 35-A and 370 are concerned. We should not hope for the flexibility from the Indian government to resolve Kashmir issue through dialogue.
Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas (IR Expert): Pakistan always supported the Kashmir issue on all international forums and fought two major and three minor wars with India on this issue. Indian policies have exposed the cruel face of India in front of the world. The aggressive Indian policies have given new life to the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people. India has turned Kashmir valley into the world's largest jail. The entire Hurriyet leadership is under house arrest. The martyrdom of Burhan Wani provided motivation to the young Kashmiris to fight against the illegal occupation of Indian forces. General elections in India are going to be held in near future and Modi government may stage a false flag operation to malign Islamabad as anti-Pakistan sentiments are the main tool which generally used by the Indian politicians to get the votes. The world is also aware of the Indian aggressive policies and expressing concerns over the grim situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The time is not far when the Kashmiris will get their fundamental right to self-determination.
Malik Bostan (President, Forex Association of Pakistan): Special Investment Facilitation Council was established with the aim to increase imports and limit the exports. Pakistan has signed a number of MoUs with different countries paving the way for multi-billion dollar investments. SIFC will ensure an increase in Foreign Direct Investment and will provide one-window operation in order to facilitate the foreign investment. The efforts of the Chief of Army Staff in this regard can never be ignored. COAS took personal interest to curb the dollar smuggling.
