Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila's 106th position among Asia's leading universities reflects the commitment of its faculty, administration, and the government toward strengthening higher education. 

Addressing the 22nd Convocation of UET Taxila, the Governor said that the graduating engineers represent Pakistan's bright future.

Announcing key initiatives, he said that a new campus of UET Taxila would soon be established in Jand, Attock, to expand access to quality engineering education for students from less-developed regions.
