Minister for Information Technology Amin ul Haq says that all-out steps are being taken for the betterment and progress of the IT sector.

Addressing a seminar in Karachi on Monday, he said that work on the National Protection Data is underway.

Amin Ul Haq said that cyber power is an important need of the hour.

He said National Computer Emergency Response Team has been set up under the chairmanship of Secretary IT. 

Amin Ul Haq said the Ministry of Information Technology has spent 31 billion rupees in three years for the betterment of connectivity and also connected far flung areas of the country.
