The Federal Board of Revenue has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for Tax Year 2026 by 15 days to 15th of this month.

According to a circular issued by the FBR, the deadline has been extended in view of requests received from various trade bodies and tax bar associations.

The FBR said the extension applies to persons who were required to file their income tax returns for Tax Year 2026 by September 30.
