Iran has urged South Korea to resolve the problem of Tehran's access to its over seven billion U.S. dollars financial assets frozen in the banks as soon as possible.
In a telephonic conversation with his South Korean counterpart, Chung Eui-yong, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian called for ending the current impasse created by following the path drawn by the United States so that Iran can buy essential items such as medicines.
On the occasion, the South Korean Foreign Minister Chung stressed the need to resolve the problems existing in bilateral relations.
