The United States has reiterated its commitment to make a ceasefire deal on Gaza.

Speaking at his regular news briefing in Washington, US State Department's Principal Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel said the United States believes that a ceasefire deal is both achievable and urgent.

He said ceasefire in Gaza is in the interest for entire region.
