In the first semi-final of the ICC Women T20 World Cup, Australia beat West Indies by eight wickets at the Oval in London last night.

Batting first, West Indies scored 125 runs for the loss of seven wickets in stipulated twenty overs.

In reply, Australia achieved the target in 13 overs for the loss of two wickets.

Meanwhile, the second semi-final of the cup will be held between England and South Africa at the same venue tomorrow.

The match will start at half past ten in the evening.   

The final of the event will be played at Lords on Sunday.
