Its business relates to coastal areas and water sea fronts, deep sea ports and other precious materials. It is not just gems we are talking about. Rather, it comprises fisheries, oil and gas exploration and tourism sector as well. Pakistan is a highly fortunate country as far as the blue economy is concerned. It has all the important ingredients imperative for the progress of the aqua economy. Pakistan has successfully found oil and gas wells in the sea. We also have precious and expensive gems and stones present in our waters. Gwadar is a natural deep sea port and economic hub. Blue economy has great potential to benefit Pakistan. There is a dire need to cash these resources and progress in the field of aqua economy.
