Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): Prime Minister Imran Khan since the very first day is focusing on to improve trade relations between Pakistan and the United States. Pakistan wants cooperation of the United States in diverse fields. Pakistan is always ready to do anything for the sake of regional peace and stability. Strong cooperation in diverse fields between Pakistan and the United States is mandatory and the concerns of Islamabad must be addressed by the new US administration. There is need to minimize the trust deficit between the two countries. United States must also support Pakistan in compensating the financial damages the country incurred during war against terror. Moreover, the strategic balance s also required and the US President Joe Biden should also take notice of Indian efforts to destabilize the balance of power in the region. The new US administration also wants respectful withdrawal of NATO forces and the role of Pakistan in this regard can never be ignored.
