It was the proposal of education experts to the government that education activities must be resumed till mid of September. Two more meetings will be held at governmental level before mid of September. First meeting will be between ministers and health experts to review the COVID-19 situation at that time. Second meeting will be held between the government and educational experts. In my opinion, 15th September will be a suitable date for resuming educational activities as our understanding regarding COVID-19 pandemic is getting better with the passing of time. We have almost two and half months and in this period we can formulate more careful strategies and guidelines to ensure resuming educational activities smoothly. The main challenge will be the transportation of school going children but the government will definitely establish guidelines in this regard as well.
