FILLING-UP OF VACANT POSTS OF ENGINEERING WING.
Some vacant posts of Senior Broadcast Engineers‚ Sub-Engineers and Broadcast Technicians are required to be filled-in internally from amongst PBC regular employees working in different wings of PBC on the basis of following criteria:-

Senior Broadcast Engineer |
a) Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/ b) Registered with Engineering Council of Pakistan. c) Experience in broadcasting digital editing production and operation of audio console will be preferred. |
1) To perform duties as shift in-charge in the operational shifts at the units/stations. 2) To function as Technical Head at small FM stations. 3) To be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the entire equipments during his shift. 4) Has responsibility of deploying and supervising shift staff. 5) To handle transmission breakdown. To troubleshoot and rectify the fault occurred in the equipments and keep them operational during the shift. 6) To carry out special assignments given by a senior officer. |

Sub-Engineer |
Three years Diploma of Associate Engineer in Radio and TV/Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer hardware and Instrument Technology from a recognized institute. |
1) To perform shift duties at the operational units/stations. 2) Hands-on operation of the equipment. |

iii. |
Broadcast Technician |
Matric (Science Group in 2nd Division) plus Diploma Certificate of one year course in electronics/electrical/diesel/air-conditioning from a Government or Government recognized institute |
.1) Hands-on operation of generators‚ AC plants and maintenance of aerial and feeder line at the operational units/stations. 2) To assist the shift in-charge in the maintenance of transmitter and studio allied equipments. |

2. All interested employees who meet the required criteria may apply through their Sectional Heads for appointment to the above posts. Their applications along with the required attested documents i.e. CV‚ CNIC‚ degrees/certificates‚ recent photograph‚ domicile and experience certificate in the relevant field as per criteria and CR dossier including 2012 of the eligible candidates may please be furnished to the HRM Department immediately but not later than 27th May‚2013. Applicants may be advised to apply at their own responsibility: their candidature is liable to be terminated at any stage on detection of ineligibility to the above prescribed qualification/experience/age limit etc. Incomplete application/testimonials will be rejected. After selection‚ he/she will be bound to get the degrees verified from HEC‚ Islamabad. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
