Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that a new era of economic and social progress will begin in Balochistan through improvement of communication means.

Presiding a review meeting of progress on projects included in the annual development program in Quetta, the he directed to ensure quality work and timely completion of construction projects.

He said that roads play a key role in the economic development of any area.

Earlier, the meeting was briefed on progress of various roads and other ongoing developmental projects.

The Chief Minister Jam Kamal also chaired another meeting in which progress on projects related to master planning of Quetta and other cities of Balochistan were reviewed.

On this occasion, Jam Kamal instructed to immediately finalize the Town Development and Housing Policy.
