Arab League will hold a meeting in Cario on Saturday to discuss proposed Middle East peace plan of the US President Donald Trump.

In a statement, the pan-Arab body’s deputy secretary, Hossam Zaki said that Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and other leaders will discuss the so-called Deal of the Century.

Meanwhile, the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in a telephonic conversation have reiterated to protect the rights of Palestinians.

The proposed US plan recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's "undivided capital," while claiming that the Palestinians' capital will include areas of East Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in Gaza Strip against US President's proposed plan.

Raising a banner that read "Palestine is not for sale", demonstrators burned photos of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
