Youm-e-Takbeer observed
May 28, 2019

Youm-e-Takbeer was observed on Tuesday with great zeal and fervor.

On this day in 1998, responding to Indian nuclear tests, Pakistan carried out five successful nuclear tests in Chaghi, Balochistan followed by another nuclear test on 30th May in Kharan.

After these nuclear tests Pakistan became seventh nuclear power of the world and first in the Muslim world.

Addressing a function in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer in Peshawar today, PML (N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Pak Army has given great sacrifices to restore peace in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Khawaja Asif said credit goes to the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for conducting nuclear tests to foil the Indian aggressive designs.
