Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

While very cold in hilly areas of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and North Balochistan.

Fog is also likely in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:      

Islamabad seven  degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi eighteen, Peshawar eight, Quetta one, Gilgit zero, Muzaffarabad four and Murree one degree centigrade.     

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian.

While very cold and dry weather in Leh and Pulwama and Baramulla.     

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Baramulla and Anatnag zero degree centigrade, Leh minus six, Pulwama and Shopian one, and Jammu ten degree centigrade.
