Pakistan Girl Guides Association Gilgit-Baltistan Branch conducted a four-day basic training session at Government Girls Degree College Skardu.

Female teachers from various government schools and colleges participated in the training.

Samina Bashir, In-charge Girls Guide Baltistan Region, Pakistan Girls Guide Association, and trainer Habiba Yasmin briefed participants on Girl Guiding.

The trainers highlighted the importance of discipline, confidence, leadership, cooperation and social responsibility among girls.

At the closing ceremony, Director Education Baltistan Region Abdul Wahab Mir and Principal Women Degree College Skardu Professor Dr. Uzma Saleem distributed certificates among the participants.
