In Karachi, many areas and roads inundated in the wake of devastating rains in the city have been de-watered by the authorities in cooperation with Pak Army, Rangers, Pak Navy and other civic and rescue agencies.

Rain water has been drained out from various localities in the city and traffic on almost all the roads in the city has been restored. However relief and rescue operation is underway in some other areas of the provincial metropolis.
