The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has enrolled 11.4 million students through its School Information System (SIS).

This was stated by Chairman of the Board Dr Umar Saif while presiding over a progress review meeting in Lahore on Tuesday.

He said the enrollment system would be beneficial to report daily attendance of students and teachers of each school on computer tablets to monitor the educational activities in the schools which would be helpful for parents and guardians to know the presence and progress of their wards.
