Pakistan Railways has started transporting diesel by rail to ensure its timely supply to PSO depots.

Under the direction of Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, a freight train carrying 750,000 litres of diesel from Rawalpindi has reached Peshawar.

Another freight train carrying one million litres of diesel from Mahmood Kot is scheduled to reach Peshawar on Saturday night.

The Railways Minister has directed authorities to continue transporting diesel on a daily basis to ensure an uninterrupted supply and maintain smooth train operations and passenger services.
