Law Minister Muhammad Farogh Naseem has said Pakistan is committed to women empowerment.

He was talking to a delegation of US State Department headed by Ted Craig in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Law Minister also informed the visiting officials about the proposed law reforms that are supposed to help resolve succession matters in a span of fifteen days instead of seven to eight years.    

He said we are working to make sure women's property rights are ensured through women's property laws.

Farogh Naseem said both Pakistan and the US have a history of close ties and these relations can be further strengthened through people to people contacts.
