Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned that chaos in Libya will affect entire Mediterranean region if peace is not established as soon as possible.

Addressing a speech in Istanbul after talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Erdogan called for greater pressure on renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar, who is waging an offensive against UN backed government in Tripoli.

Erdogan expressed hope that international community will not make the mistakes it made in Syria.
