China has warned United States of consequences if it does not end its wrong trade actions.

In a statement, China’s commerce ministry said United States should not misjudge the situation or underestimate the resolve of Chinese people.

The statement strongly opposed Washington’s decision to levy additional tariffs on 550 billion dollars worth of Chinese goods.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington will impose an additional five percent duty on Chinese goods after Beijing unveiled its latest retaliatory tariffs on about 75 billion dollars worth of U.S. goods.
