China says Beijing and Washington should make compromises in trade talks ahead of meeting between presidents of the two countries during G20 summit in Japan.

Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen said talks between the two countries’ trade teams are underway.

He said China’s principles are clear which are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit and meeting each other halfway.
