Islamic calligraphy exhibition held at Heritage Museum, Islamabad

An exhibition of Islamic calligraphy by renowned calligraphist Aftab Ahmed Khan was held at Heritage Museum in Islamabad on Friday.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Secretary Information and Broadcasting Shafqat Jalil said calligraphy enjoys a unique status in Islamic art, and Muslims' love for the art reflects their love for Quran.

He said such exhibitions can be helpful to promote our traditions, culture and rich heritage.

The Secretary Information hoped that children will get inspired from the exhibition and will make efforts to discover hidden treasure of Quran.

Earlier in the ceremony, children from different schools recited Hamdia and Natia Kalam.
