The Director General Punjab Disaster Management Authority has directed all deputy commissioners across the province to stay alert amid forecast of heavy rains from today to Monday. According to a statement, he also put all concerned departments on high alert to deal with the emergency situation.

The Director General appealed to citizens to take precautionary measures and stay away from electricity poles and dangling wires.
