U.S. Senate has rejected a second Democratic bid to obtain documents and evidence in President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial.

The motion, brought up by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, called for subpoenaing any documents, communications and other records kept by White House.

The amendment was rejected in a 53-47 party-line vote.
